We are thrilled to be welcoming Simone Parker to our permeant team at Bush Agribusiness.  Simone has previously moonlighted for us delivering Business Edge workshops and speaking at events and helping clients with planning and strategy.  Her role at Bush Agribusiness will encompass many facets including working with family boards, succession planning and group facilitation.  Simone brings extensive knowledge of the northern pastoral industry, having worked in extension, training and NRM roles across Queensland and the Northern Territory and is based in central Queensland.

Many of you have already had the pleasure of meeting Sally who commenced with us in July last year.  Sally has begun delivering Business Edge and is taking a lead role in a chapter of the soon to be released Australian Beef Report 2023.  Sally will be assisting Simone with Business Edge delivery and is about to complete her Honours project looking at how beef producers can capitalise on the Australian carbon credit scheme.  Sally is currently spending time on farm with some of our clients to further her understanding of the industry.

We are delighted to introduce Kirstie Olive as an associate who will support the business from Central Queensland. Kirstie completed a couple of projects for Bush AgriBusiness last year.

With her vast experiences in the agricultural industry including banking, event management, animal health and product marketing, Kirstie brings a wealth of knowledge and is passionate about learning from astute and progressive producers whilst assisting clients to analyse and improve their own businesses through informed decision making.

Kirstie supports Bush Agribusiness applying her expertise for specific projects and client work.

Michael was a full-time team member from 2017-2020 when he left to complete his PhD in Canberra. We are very pleased to announce that he has now completed his PhD and is now Dr Wellington! He has secured a role with the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research, based between Daly Waters, Canberra and Africa. We’re fortunate that Michael continues to do project work for us from time to time.

We send our congratulations to Tim Carter who has moved from Bush Agribusiness to a role within his family’s beef business in North Queensland.  We wish all the best chasing cattle and balancing the herd numbers Tim!
